Safety Guidelines

Last updated: 01/09/2025

At 12AM NIGHTLIFE, our goal is simple: give you an unforgettable night out in Madrid — and get you home safe. We work hard to keep every pub crawl fun, friendly, and secure. These safety guidelines explain what we expect from all guests and what we do to protect you.

Please read carefully before joining an event. Your safety is our shared responsibility.

1. Age & ID Policy

To join any 12AM NIGHTLIFE event, you must:

  • Be 18 years or older (Spanish legal drinking age)
  • Bring a valid photo ID (passport or EU national ID only – no photos or copies)

Venues will deny entry without valid ID. We cannot issue refunds if you’re turned away.

👉 Read our full Terms & Conditions  for entry and participation requirements.

2. Drink Responsibly

We encourage responsible partying. Free shots and cheap drinks are part of the fun, but it’s up to you to know your limits. Please avoid:

  • Mixing alcohol excessively
  • Pre-drinking before the crawl
  • Accepting drinks from strangers

If you’re visibly drunk at check-in or during the night, we or the venues may remove you without refund for your safety and others’.

👉 See our Waiver of Liability for more info on alcohol-related risks.

3. Respect the Crew, Venues & Other Guests

To make sure everyone has a great time, we have zero tolerance for:

  • 🚫 Harassment
  • 🚫 Aggressive or violent behavior
  • 🚫 Vandalism
  • 🚫 Discrimination
  • 🚫 Unwanted touching or inappropriate comments

If someone crosses the line, they’ll be removed immediately. We’re here to party — not police people.

🛡️ All guides are trained to step in when needed and will work with venue security if problems arise.

4. Stay With the Group (and Your Friends)

Madrid is safe, but it’s still a big city — especially at night. To avoid getting lost, missing entries, or putting yourself at risk:

  • Stick with the group when moving between bars
  • Use the buddy system
  • Let your guide know if you plan to leave early

We’re not responsible for lost guests or issues that occur once someone leaves the crawl.

📌 Check our FAQs for what to expect during the night.

5. Watch Your Stuff

Don’t let a lost phone or wallet ruin your night. We recommend:

  • Carrying only essentials
  • Keeping valuables in front pockets or zipped bags
  • Watching your belongings in crowded clubs
  • Avoiding large bags or flashy items

👉 For prep tips, check our optional Booking Guide (add this page if needed).

6. Emergency Contacts & Guides

Every crawl has a dedicated guide trained in safety and basic first aid. If you feel unwell, unsafe, or have any concerns, tell your guide immediately.

Emergency numbers in Spain:

  • 📞 Police/Medical: 112 (free, 24/7, English-speaking operators available)
  • 📞 12AM NIGHTLIFE Support: +34 694 28 59 55
  • 📧 Email: support@12amnightlife.com

7. Health Considerations

Please let us know ahead of time if you have:

  • Allergies or medical conditions
  • Accessibility needs
  • Mental health concerns related to nightlife environments

We’ll do our best to accommodate and support you — discreetly and respectfully.

Need to reschedule due to illness or safety concerns? Our Refund & Cancellation Policy explains your options.

8. Final Word: Party Smart, Go Hard — But Go Home Safe

We built 12AM NIGHTLIFE to bring people together — not put anyone at risk. Be wild, be free, but also be smart. When in doubt, ask your guide, take a break, or skip a drink.
